UX Designer
JOB DESCRIPTION
UX DesignerCKSK is an award-winning Dublin agency working with some really great clients to produce websites, games, mobile apps and interactive installations. We do fun, interesting and challenging work and we'd like a UX Designer/Front-End Developer to join us in our studio in the centre of Dublin.
The UX Designer will work closely with the design and innovation team and liaise with the technical team. You will also be involved with the business team ensuring projects meet client objectives. You will be responsible for helping our designers bring their creative concepts through to reality and will be involved throughout all stages of the development cycle. You will be ambitious, technically savvy and keen to explore the creative use of technology. Preferably, you will have a background in interface design and a good understanding of front-end web development.
Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
• Create user flows, interaction models, wireframes and mock-ups from business and functional requirements to clearly demonstrate great user experiences.
• Ensure the experiences you develop meet the project's strategic goals and the users' needs.
• Ensure projects are developed to specification.
• Research and evaluate the features of existing projects, critiquing and suggesting improvements.
Skills / Experience Required:
• 3 - 5 years' experience in designing complex user interfaces and solving user problems with intelligent UX design solutions.
• Strong sense of visual design.
• At least 1 year's experience designing wireframes and other UX documentation.
• Examples of applying usability best-practises to a website or application.
• Excellent communication skills. Ability to write clearly and concisely.
• Understanding of opportunities and limitations imposed by various technologies.
• Motivated and excited by the prospect of working on big, highly visible projects.
• Experience with designing for social media sites and applications.
Desired Skills:
• Ability to develop HTML and other front-end technologies.
• Experience with working to brand guidelines.
