Technical Architect

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Mad*Pow Technical Architect, your main task will be to organize and lead the development effort of a client organization's technical solution. You will be responsible for the development of the overall vision that underlies the projected design vision and transforming that vision through execution into the final solution.

AS A MAD*POW TECHNICAL ARCHITECT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Business Development:
• Assisting the business development life cycle by serving as a product SME, helping identify and qualify business development opportunities
• Growing and maintaining vendor relationships with development and technology partners
Marketing:
• Writing, or direct the writing, of white papers that provide insight around development and technology
• Acting as a visionary and strategist for development and technology
• Speaking at conferences and seeking authorship opportunities in trade publications
• Helping the marketing department create marketing materials and position strategies development and technology solutions
Leadership & Management:
• Translating business, functional/system, user and implementation requirements into websites/system/application design documents
• Overseeing specific aspects of the project life cycle, from initial kickoff through requirements analysis, development and implementation
• Ensuring proper quality assurance practices for every project
• Managing a team of direct reports
• Interfacing and coordinating tasks with internal and external technical resources
• Assisting resource coordinators to define overall staffing and recruiting needs
• Mentoring and guiding more junior technical resources
Documentation:
• Creating technical architecture and other documentation that is necessary to deliver a high quality solution

EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING IS A PLUS:
• Defining requirements (business, functional, user and implementation) for large websites, applications and systems that require a Content Management System for editing and publishing digital content
• Partnering with large complex organizations
• Working in a digital agency setting

OTHER DEETS:
