designedmemory is searching for an ambitious and innovative developer to join our nyc studio. we are looking for portfolios that "we can't believe" and a professional character we can rely on to deliver cross-browser, mobile-capable, pixel-perfect code. as a senior developer, you must also be on the bleeding edge of digital implementations and eager to share your fresh ideas with our creative director.this is you:
5+ years experience hand-coding HTML, JavaScript (jQuery), CSS, XML and AS3
3+ years experience using LAMP stacks and hand coding PHP (preferably CodeIgniter) to develop dynamic websites
mastery developing and testing across multiple browsers, platforms, DOM implementations, etc.
mastery with content management systems (CMS) and version control systems (Git)
experience delivering media via Content Distribution Networks (CDN)
experience with analytics solutions (Omniture, Google Analytics, WebTrends)
experience optimizing for search engines and can recommend best practices
user interface design, information architecture, graphic design experience a plus
demonstrated ability to accurately estimate and scope development work
understanding of project management, schedules and deadlines
understanding of good design principles and ability to interpret and execute creative concepts
strong attention to efficiency and priority
strong written & oral communication
intrinsic team management skills
obsession with the latest digital technologies

this is a 3-month probationary contract with the goal of a full-time hire. we have a flexible, open work environment, but you must have a homebase in nyc and be able to work in manhattan. compensation is competitive and relative.
