Senior Front-End DeveloperCKSK is an award-winning Dublin agency working with some really great clients to produce websites, games, mobile apps and interactive installations. We do fun, interesting and challenging work and we'd like a Senior Front-End Developer to join us in our studio in the centre of Dublin.
The Senior Front-End Developer will be part of the team responsible for the development of client websites, web applications, services and mobile apps, primarily built on the Linux/Apache/PHP solution stack. This role will provide the right candidate with the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced and challenging environment, developing world-class solutions.
Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
• Responsible for design and implementation of top notch Web User Interfaces
• Responsible for the delivery and management of each stage in the project lifecycle of web applications, front-end interfaces and framework components
• Must be able to demonstrate multiple successfully completed web application projects of complex nature
• Will be responsible for developing production-level code, as well as design specs, proof-of-concepts and prototypes
• You will work primarily with CSS, HTML5, XHTML, JavaScript, AJAX, PHP (procedural and object-oriented design), dynamic content retrieval, performance optimization, unit testing, and debugging techniques
• Writing standards-compliant complex CSS, HTML5, XHTML, AJAX, JavaScript
Skills / Experience Required:
• 3 - 5 years' experience
• Strong command of CSS, HTML5, XHTML, AJAX, PHP, MySQL
• Strong ability to integrate front-end designs with back-end systems
• Strong understanding of Usability, Human Computer Interaction, and Design Guidelines
• Full knowledge of cross platform display issues between major browsers and platforms
• Ability to work with a team and follow established creative direction
• Must be fluent with Linux
• Well versed in code optimization and software design principles, and have a passion and demonstrated experience in front-end development
• Excellent analytical and programming skills
