Mid-weight front-end developer
JOB DESCRIPTION
The time has come for a new Pirate to come on board. We're looking for a mid-weight Front-end Developer.With at least 2-3 yrs experience, the ideal candidate will have a strong command of HTML / XHTML, CSS & JavaScript including good knowledge of structural and templating Javascript frameworks (such as JQuery).
All candidates should be able to demonstrate that they write clean and well-structured markup that passes W3C validation and employ 'progressive enhancement' and 'graceful degradation' techniques to ensure the best experience possible across a range of browsers and devices. Candidates should also be able to demonstrate an understanding of developing mobile web interfaces and be familiar with techniques for dealing with different formats including tablet devices.
