Interaction Design Director
JOB DESCRIPTION
At R/GA, Interaction Designer Directors are integral to the creative process and play pivotal roles in the strategy, conception and design of groundbreaking multi-context platforms like Nike Plus, Nokia Vine, and NikeiD. We are seeking experienced Interaction Design Directors with a proven track record connecting customers and brands through intuitive interfaces and transformative brand experiences. Preference will be given to people who demonstrate a combination of strategic, conceptual and design chops.Responsibilities include:
Help define business opportunities, conduct user research and translate insights into consumer-facing experiences.
Lead multi-disciplinary teams in the creation of best-in-class user experiences.
Enable the creation of concept models, user interface sketches, and schematics.
Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to Interaction Designers.
Demonstrate thought leadership in at least one of the following domains; product design, e-commerce, mobile, retail, social media.
