UX/IA DESIGNER

The UX/IA designer is responsible for creating intuitive, useful, and scalable design solutions. To do so they will need to produce use cases, wireframes, site maps, test plans and prototypes to effectively communicate both high-level design strategies and detailed user interactions. . They demonstrate a full understanding of the client's business and communication goals and working with internal cross-disciplinary teams to define and implement innovative, effective UX solutions while ensuring the user experience maintains accuracy throughout each experience execution, from conception to implementation. The UX/IA designer must also show a proven ability to successfully communicate the thinking behind their solutions and the UX/IA process in general to both client and internal teams. They must also provide leadership in requirements gathering, usability research and emerging technologies.

The right fit will believe that every digital interaction is more than graphics and code, it's also emotion and feeling. They see UX/IA design as an exercise in problem solving – an exercise at which they excel. They are able to be self-directed when needed while having a strong aptitude for team collaboration. YOU:
• Have a current online portfolio that demonstrates your skill range/capabilities/interests

• Possess a strong ability to clearly convey UX concepts to both clients and team members

• Have a detailed understanding of and passion for user experience and information architecture

• Enjoy conducting research to gather the information needed to create useful and unique creative solutions

• Are interested in emerging technologies and design aesthetics

• Are able to see projects through from concept to completion

• Have strong written and verbal communication skills for both internal and client needs

• Are able to manage multiple projects at once, sometimes on a tight deadline

• Know and use OmniGraffle in addition to other methods of UX concepting

• Are knowledgeable of Adobe CS, especially Illustrator, Photoshop and Flash

• Are experienced working with teams and able to work independently, as needed
