Digital Project Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

As project manager, you will own project outcomes by collaborating primarily with the digital account team and occasionally with non-digital account teams. You'll use your strong grasp of project management methodologies as they apply within an agency setting, mentor other project managers and work to continually improve the project management team's best practices.

Responsibilities
-Develop project cost and time estimates that demonstrate an understanding of a project's objectives, deliverables, and risks

-Lead and keep projects moving forward by serving as a problem-solving resource, a go-to person for each project's development team

-Work with the account team to manage scope change / creep against a project's budget and timelines

-Review and sign-off against all project deliverables prior to providing to client or account team

-Communicate status progress to account team, identify red flags early enough to mitigate issues

-Work with the Technology and Operations Director to identify appropriate project resources for each project and to help coordinate the agency's full roster of projects and programs

-Work with the tech lead and individual project team members to manage and monitor progress against project schedule.

-Develop and maintain detailed workplans for each active project

-Brief Tech and Creative leads on project objectives

-Actively seek out new business opportunities for the firm by responding to RFP's (written proposals) and attending industry networking events

Key Qualifications
-At least 3 years' digital project management experience within an agency environment

-Experience in three or more of the following areas: web development (.net or php), online media production, online promotions and contests, web and/Facebook applications, managing remote teams

-Experience in managing projects with short turnarounds as well as those with longer durations, and with budgets up to $500K or more

-Understanding of agile methodology and approach

-Post Secondary Degree/Diploma in a related field preferred, but not mandatory

-Intermediate knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project.

Bonus if you have...
-Experience in using Google analytics and search engine optimization

-Experience in developing project needs assessments, heuristic evaluations

-At least 3 years developing IA strategies: screen flows and wireframes
